There's a fourth type of knowledge he missed, one I'm always running my nose against - things you know that you don't know you know. It's was really harsh when English teachers with this just couldn't suss out why my son with Asperger Syndrome couldn't understand what they were trying to get him to do.
What a brilliant insight!

It also has to do directly with what the author was talking about - feeling like you're not worth it. A LOT of people tend to undervalue their own knowledge and take it for granted and overvalue other people's knowledge.
