Poems Available

xjenavivex asked for a list of fishbowl poems that are still available for sponsorship.  (If other folks find this useful, let me know.)  They are:

EDIT 2/5/10: xjenavivex has posted a version of this list with the thumbnail descriptions included.

"Dreamteenth" -- $5 SOLD
"Duality" -- $5
"Soulchild Dreaming" -- $5 ( dreamwriteremmy plans to buy this one) SOLD

"The Bonecage" -- $10 SOLD
"The Dream Dump" -- $10 SOLD
"Dreamcaught" -- $10
"Faereality" -- $10
"Ondine's Curse" -- $10
"Our Dreams Take Flight" -- $10 SOLD
"The Scapemare" -- $10 SOLD
"Sole Train" -- $10 SOLD
"Wings of Steel" -- $10

"To Have a Dream" -- $20 SOLD

"The Polar Bear and the Princess of Beasts" -- $36.50 SOLD

There is also one more epic, "Boundaries and Determinations."  This is a sequel to "The Transformations of Terror."  It was the last poem I wrote last night, it took me over two hours, and it's still in the rough ... at just over six pages containing 234 lines (if I counted correctly).  Many of the lines are short, so I don't really feel right asking $.50/line for this one, although I'd like to get something  for it.  I'm toying with the idea of posting this as a "workshop" poem, open to donations, and also open to editing suggestions.  If you're interested, let me know. This poem is now in workshop mode.

EDIT 2/9/10: Holy cow in a rainbow halo! You folks have bought all but five of the poems for sale! ^_^

Now that I've had some time to consider February's Fishbowl offerings, I'd like to chip in $10 towards "The Polar Bear and the Princess of Beasts." (I could go for a good fairytale right about now. :) So I'd like to ask for co-sponsors and I'll send my part of the sponsorship in the usual manner. Thank you!

I have posted the first three verses, with a call for cosponsors. Thank you for your support! And yes, this is written in classic fairytale style with various traditional motifs assembled into a fresh plot.

... I'd like to sponsor Soulchild Dreaming, as it's similar to what I would have requested[i need to put these things on my calendar, not my to-do list lol x-x]. And because I sorta-fail at memory and sponsorship is somewhat new to me, how would i go about doing so? ^^

I'm glad to hear that you've decided to sponsor a poem. The two easiest methods are:

1) If you have a PayPal account, go to my LJ profile and use the permanent PayPal button (scroll down a bit; it's in "Bio" under "Feed the Bard") on that page:
Include a note with your LJ name and the poem title so I know what it's for.

2) If you don't use PayPal, you can send me a check. Let me know by LJ private message and I will give you my mailing address.

However, if you wish to propose some other payment method, send me a private message and we can work out details.

The next Poetry Fishbowl is currently slated for Tuesday, March 2 and the theme will be "elements & elemental spirits."

Thank you!

My word, yes, that's brilliant! I'll make a note above the old list.
