In Which I Am Not Food

I saw this site about taking a vacation to swim with polar bears.

*blink*

Polar bears are predators. They hunt in the water for fish and seals. To sharks, humans look a lot like seals. Somehow I'm not terribly convinced that bears think much differently. It's food-sized and it's flopping around in the water ...

... nooooo way am I ever swimming with bears. At least with dolphins, the only risk is interspecies sexual harassment, not getting eaten.

ON

This vacation isn't meant for you or me, or anyone we know (okay...I take that back, living in South Carolina...I know a lot of people who needs this vacation). This vacation is obviously a Darwinistic attempt to save the human race from its own burgeoning stupidity.

It's my sincere wish that hundreds of slack-jawed butt-pickers trample each other trying to be the first to buy their tickets to swim with the polar bears, and that the ones who survive the trampling back-stroke into the jaws of oblivion.

OFF

Oh deary me. What on Earth am I saying. I just hope no one gets hurt swimming with the cute white bears. This is certainly a vacation where magick can definitely happen and humans can be one with nature. For, surely, those adorable little polar bears will be psychically aware that the humans amidst them are communing and creating a sacred space of universal oneness.

hm.
That was worth the time it took for me to post the link.
::tips hat:: :-D
