The most amusing accomplishment was that my poem "Hanes" / "History" won the 2009 Left Coast Eisteddfod Poetry Competition ... in the Welsh language category.
My story "Clean Sweep" appeared in The Lorelei Signal.
My story "Goldenthread" appeared in the anthology Dead Souls.

I launched another blog, Gaiatribe: Ideas for a Thinking Planet.  This blog covers social and environmental activism, Paganism, networking, and other topics.

I have continued my contributions to the shared-world project called Torn World, which just opened to the public.  So far I've designed a big chunk of the language family, plus some plants and animals and other stuff.

In spring I got a cheap digital camera.  I spent several months practicing with it.  Then I started exploring a fancier digital camera that my partner Doug has.  You can see some of my photos here.

So if you've ever wondered why I'm "busy" most of the time ... that's why.

What were some of your accomplishments during 2009?

Poetry is the type of writing that I do most often. It's fun and usually quick. Over the course of a year, that adds up.
