I wrote a lot of my "Vampires of the World" series by doing research into other cultures' conceptualizations of vampirism. Sometimes I found really cool stuff. I encourage you to browse around and see if you find some inspiration off the beaten path.

"Boring" is a person who opens a dictionary or encyclopedia to one entry, reads it, and then reshelves the book.
