Health Care Reform: An Online Guide

Slate has posted an exhaustive list of political, medical, social, news, and other resources pertaining to online coverage of health care reform. It looks like these resources (and the diversity of Slate's articles) cover a pretty thorough range of the topic. For anyone who is deeply serious about investigating the issue, this is a treasure trove.

I'm actually okay with the first one, since I don't approve of forcing people into a plan, particularly if they can't afford it -- and fining people for not being able to afford health insurance just adds insult to injury.

The second one is more disturbing. I've seen a lot of conflicting polls about whether or not doctors "really" support health care reform. I suspect the divergence is due to the phrasing of the questions, which is rarely revealed. In this case it seems to be talking about "the Democratic plan" but there are actually SEVERAL plans floating around and the end result will probably be a frankenstein of those. So I'm dubious about most of the poll results, which is frustrating, because this would be a really useful place to have solid data.
