Poem: "Mother and Child(ren)"

This is the freebie poem for the August 4 fishbowl. It was inspired by a photo prompt from moosl.


Mother and Child(ren)


Here they are,
my little ones,
the first crawling
from the floor
into my lap,
and the second
still nestled inside,
playing pattycake
through the soft wall
of my body.
