Poem: "Comes as No Surprise"
This is the freebie for the February Crowdfunding Creative Jam. It was inspired by a prompt from Dreamwidth user Nsfwords. It also fills the "Xenotime - Self-Reflection & Acceptance" square in my 2-1-23 card for the Valentines Bingo fest.
"Comes as No Surprise"
They are friends
and they are activists.
Their T-shirts read,
Abuse of power and
Comes as no surprise.
The world is a mess, with
people wrangling for power.
Yet the mouse and the lion
get along fine together.
Biology is not destiny.
This too should
come as no surprise.
