Setting notes for "A Better Place for Everyone"
These are the setting notes for "A Better Place for Everyone."
The basement of Blues Moon contains the working part of the lair. The largest office below the lunch room belongs to Boss Brown now. The one across from it is the guest room. The accounts/manager and board room offices are shared space. The big corner office in the upper right is the patch room. They actually don't have an exercise room in their own lair; instead they have a group membership at a nearby gym.
The library reading corner includes bookcases, a couch, and several clusters of chairs. Parts of this room have sound-absorbing panels, both for privacy and serenity.
The guest bathroom includes a toilet, a walk in-shower, and a sink. Not visible from this angle, the linen closet near the door contains an extensive comfort kit for female needs.
In the shared office, multiple desks around the room accommodate the gang's organizational needs. The room has sound-absorbing panels, both for privacy and so it can be used for musical practice outside of office hours. A sitting area in one corner allows for relaxation and waiting for attention. A jazz painting hangs on the back wall above the sitting area.
The lunch room includes tables and chairs. The art on the walls is printed onto acoustic panels to reduce noise. You can buy premade art panels, attach art to blank ones, or make your own.
