Habitat for Humanity Club Habitat For Humanity is a non-profit organization that serves families through building safe homes. They believe that everyone deserves access to affordable housing and that strong communities start with strong homes. We are partnered with the Habitat for Humanity of Greensboro where we advocate, educate, and fundraise for them. We volunteer at the Habitat Restore here in Greensboro to assist with any donation processing and build projects. We also are partnered with the Glenwood urban farm here in Greensboro where we have “garden work days” every Monday and Wednesday from 1:30-3. We assist with planting/harvesting crops to give away for free to low income communities that can not afford fresh produce. Tabletop Club This club is the place for people who want to play tabletop games, design new tabletop games, and test their own tabletop creations. We meet every Friday from 7:00pm until 10:00pm. We're the place to be for giant nerds and casual board game fans alike. Bringing your own tabletop and board game collections, especially including ones you created yourself, is not only allowed, but encouraged. THREADS- CARS Student Organization Threads is UNCG's Consumer, Apparel and Retail Studies Student Organization. We host numerous networking events throughout the year to help CARS students find friends, study partners, internships, and meet potential employers. Our annual end of the year Fashion Show is one of our biggest events. The fashion show showcases student work, and exposes CARS students to the community - UNCG and beyond.
