Wassailing

Today we gathered some friends to wassail our orchard, a traditional Twelfth Night activity. We had hot apple-raspberry cider with cinnamon. We cast circle in the orchard and sang the first verse of "Here We Come A-Wassailing." Then we went around sprinkling wassail on all the fruit trees and the raspberry patch. We have a crabapple tree, a pear, a couple of apple trees, a couple of cherries, and sundry others. Hopefully this year we'll get plenty of fruit.

Oh, it sounds like so much fun! I wish I could have done something like that with my friedns, but the nearest orchard is almost 12 miles away.
I hope you get tons of fruit too!
Sounds like fun ;) May the Goddess bring you much bounty!
