Arcadian Shores
The Arcadian Shores neighborhood is located just east of Highway 17 in the Arcadian area of Myrtle Beach near Kingston Plantation.
The new Kallistos home is on the corner of Sandtrap and Putter streets.
The new Kallistos house forms an angle between the main house and its attached in-laws suite.
The basement includes a wine cellar, a full bathroom, and three other rooms. The rec room has a bank of viewscreens serving as virtual windows. The theater has a large viewscreen for watching movies. Bedroom 5 serves as an art studio for Keira.

This house stands on a corner lot that is about twice as big as a standard lot. One street runs along the top of the picture, for which the screened porch serves as the front door. The other street runs along the left side of the picture, facing the garage and righthand steps to the covered porch. Sliding glass doors let into Bedroom 2 and the Master Suite, but the front door for the main house is actually at the bottom. The screened porch at the top of the picture, accessible from a wheelchair ramp, is where Dorcas keeps plants currently for sale. Inside the in-laws suite, Bernice has the Master Suite with roll-in shower and Dorcas has Bedroom 2. The covered porch and the screened porch provide space for Dorcas to grow plants for future sale. A wheelchair ramp runs up a shallow slope to the door on the covered porch.
The storage room holds supplies for Donne's workshop in the top garage space. The family vehicles include a putt-putt for traveling around the neighborhood and a small car for trips into town (in the center space) and a full-size van with lift for family trips or major shopping runs (in the bottom space by the house). The main part of the house is wheelchair accessible through the garage. The boys share Bedroom 4, the younger girls share Bedroom 3, and the older girls share Bedroom 2. Donne and Keira share the Master Suite in the main house. They figure that if they have more kids, they can convert the walk-through closet into a nursery.
This type of kitchen cart has a large dropleaf on the left, kneespace with a half-shelf in the middle, and end shelves on the right. Locking wheels make it stationary or mobile as desired. Thus it provides storage space for the rolling pins, cutting boards, kitchen knives, cookie cutters, or other tools customarily used there.
