Poetry in Microfunding:

There are two open epics at present.

"Rainshadow Road" belongs the Daughters of the Apocalypse series. It discusses herbalism.

"A Celebration and a Consolation" belongs to Polychrome Heroics. Keira comforts her mother after the breakup.

The weather has been mild here.  We got some rain.  Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of house finches, several mourning doves, a cardinal, two fox squirrels, and a gray squirrel. Fall bulbs have arrived and I'm into my planting season for those.  Currently blooming: morning glories, nasturtium, petunia, zinnias, marigolds, cypress vine. More than half the fields have been harvested.
