Teams of NASA scientists are now developing plans to link the first astronauts to land on Mars with their families, friends and the space agency back on Earth via the internet and interplanetary 3-D virtual worlds.
Well, I know what I'd be doing, with a manned mission on Mars or the Moon. I'd be networking like mad to find someone who could get me into that corner of virtuality ... so I could write poetry there, and share it. And I have the advantage of not minding a timelag; funny how farmemory comes in handy when you least expect it.
