Birdfeeding
Today is sunny and hot.
I fed the birds. I've seen house finches and doves.
I'm also seeing a lot more native bees. I've always had some, mostly bumblebees and some tiny ones that come to the orchard in spring, but they're more active this year. There was a black one on a marigold, possibly a mining bee or a carpenter bee. Learn how to attract native bees.
EDIT 8/23/21 -- I finished trimming around the firepit.
