dialecticdreamer is hosting Magpie Monday today with a theme of "what if?" Send prompts, get ficlet!If we reach a total of $150 in tips, that’s at least 7,500 words. In return, I’ll double that word count by posting a story called “Soda Jerk,” which involves Shiv, Buttons, Heron, and a food science laboratory… It really defies description at the moment, but it should fit well with this month’s theme.
