The barrel garden is looking greener as more things sprout.

Wallflower is still blooming. Morning glories are climbing. The round leaves are nasturtiums.

The purple-and-white garden is mostly hostas now.

This blue allium is blooming.

The septic garden is also looking better.

Orange butterflyweed is blooming.

Wild onions are budding. These form a perimeter to discourage pests.

Serviceberries are ripe. Sadly most of them are out of my reach. I've gotten a couple handfuls though. They taste a lot like blueberries.

The first of the Asiatic lilies is blooming under the telephone pole.

This is the wildflower garden.

White penstemon is blooming.

So is this huge white thing.

This is the bee tree. The top part is the actual maple. The lower stuff is volunteer brush.

Here is the hive entrance with some honeybees. It's over my head, so maybe 7-8 feet up.

Mulberries are ripe.

This is the sunchoke patch toward the east end of the prairie garden.

This eye-level view shows that the tallest of last year's sunchokes are now head-high and some of the grass is overhead.

The tallest of the new sunchokes is between knee and hip high.

This patch is mostly little bluestem.

The goddess garden is near the northeast corner of the house.
