Wear It Out
I came across this post about wearing out clothing.
Almost all my clothes get worn out, if they don't shrink or otherwise become unusable. Occasionally I find things that I just don't seem to wear as much as I thought I would, and those go in a donation bag. Most clothes go from good, to good enough to wear around the house, to grubbies for yardwork, to the ragbag. I have pants with dead elastic that I hold up with safety pins, and others with drawstrings hanging half out the holes in the waistband. It's not like the blackberries care what I'm wearing.
The last time I wore out something? Just a few days ago; the holes in a pair of socks are big enough that I'll need to throw them in the ragbag.
