Pear and Sour Cream Muffins

We had a shipment of pears arrive in wretched condition.  Fortunately, I know that overripe fruit still has some uses.  I searched online and found this recipe for Pear and Sour Cream Muffins.  It used up the last of the sour cream and 2 of the pears.  \o/ 

Also, the muffins are delicious.  I just took them out of the oven.  They are sort of amber colored with a spicy, fruity flavor.  :D  I love muffins with real food in them.  These have the pears and some whole-wheat flour, and use less sugar than average.
