Birdfeeding

Today is cold and clear.  There are layers of snow, with lots of animal tracks.  Most of those are rabbit, squirrel, and sparrow.  I saw some dove tracks.  I think there might have been something else -- cat, fox, coyote -- but the tracks are blurry and erratic, hard to pin down.

I fed the birds.  Today I've seen sparrows, cardinals, a dark-eyed junco, a Bewick's wren, and a downy woodpecker.
