Still More Pebbles

"Pebbles from the River Lethe" is over 14,000 words now. It's going to be a scrunch to keep it under 15,000 words. *sigh* The protagonist is on the upswing, though, and I've got the dots connected through the setup for what I sincerely hope will be the last action scene.

It would've been a bit easier to finish this thing if not for our movie plans. We went to see "Enchanted" tonight, which was hilarious; and we're going to "The Golden Compass" tomorrow with a couple of friends.

I will be so happy when this story is done.

I don't know about Enchanted, but I didn't enjoy Compass very much. People who hadn't read the book thought it was really good though.

See you on the 6th

*laugh* Actually I went to the movie hoping it *wouldn't* be too much like the book. The book had great concepts but tedious execution. I figured the movie had a good chance of cutting out the fluff and leaving the excitement -- and it did. Much fun.
