Vehicle notes for "Laundry, Liturgy, and Women's Work"

These are the vehicle notes for "Laundry, Liturgy, and Women's Work."

By 15 A.E. most vehicles have been converted to renewable fuels such as ethanol and/or electricity. Older vehicles are often preferred because they are sturdier and easier to repair than fancy modern ones. Housetrucks and recreational vehicles are popular for caravans. Their cargo capacity and living space make up for the poor mileage efficiency.

Housetruck 1 (yellow) -- Wheeler (18) and Cleaner (28)

See the right side, front, and back of the exterior.

Inside, the bathroom is to the right of the back door. It includes a toilet, sink, and roll-in shower. The U-shaped couch reconfigures to a full-size bed at night, which Wheeler and Cleaner share.

Housetruck 2 (red & brown) -- Catcher (25) and Maggot (15)
Catcher sleeps in the overhang bed. Maggot sleeps on the couch, or drags the cushions onto the floor where he can stretch out.

See the front right side, exterior back, and front left side of the exterior.

Inside, the kitchenette has stained glass windows. The living area includes a couch. The shower is on the opposite side of the bathroom, not shown. Below the overhang bed is a portal to the cockpit.

Housetruck 3 (green & brown) -- Digger (20), Dibble (6), and Forager (29)
Forager sleeps in the overhang bed with Digger. Dibble sleeps on the couch.

See the exterior left side.

The interior is done in wood. The kitchenette has a sink and a stove. A tall wooden door leads to the bathroom. A woodburning stove provides heat.

Housetruck 4 (tan) -- Alma (65), Stitcher (16), and Hunter (27)
The overhang has a double bed that Hunter and Stitcher share. Alma sleeps in the dining bed.

See the right side and the front of the exterior. It has a storage compartment. This compartment holds batteries, this one has fuel tanks, and here is a control box. The overhang has nice detailing. Steps lead up to the entrance.

Inside, the living area includes an overhang bed with steps. The kitchenette has a stove and a refrigerator. A microwave hangs overhead. A woodstove keeps the place warm. The dining area converts to a bed at night. This door leads to the living area. The bathroom includes a toilet, shower, and sink. The cockpit has a wooden dashboard.
