Aww ... that's cute! I love bats. :-D Bats are underappreciated, I think.
Bats are seriously underappreciated. The insect eaters are prodigious predators of pests, and the nectar eaters are valuable pollinators. Even the fruit eaters have a useful place in the food web.
Plus, they're just really cool. Their wings are so maneuverable, and many species' females can carry young weighing up to a quarter the adult mass! They may not be as good as birds for speed or endurance, but for maneuverability, they've got the birds beaten.

I think it's unfair that we associate bird-style wings with angels and bat-style wings with demons in Western civilization. :D
