Zombie Fires

Zombie fires are underground fires burning through permafrost.  Like other underground fires, they are all but impossible to put out.  Previous examples I had seen included coal seam fires and oil or natural gas fires such as the hellmouth.  Permafrost fire was new to me, but makes sense given the relation to peat, which is harvested for fuel.
