Happy Holidays

Some of you are old friends that I knew before LiveJournal existed. Others are new friends who've found my Journal in the last few weeks. To all of you I wish the happiest of holidays.

Here the night is cold and quiet. The moon, just past full, is a circle of white fire in the black sky, surrounded by stars. Hoarfrost glitters on the frozen grass. The air is calm. All is peaceful.

I am content.

It sounds beautiful! I wish you the best of holidays as well!
I was stringing a necklace for a friend this evening, made with onyx and moonstone beads, and a tiny quartz Venus of Willendorf. I went outside to charge it in the moonlight, and found the night a marvel.
Some winter nights hold a special magick.
The necklace sounds lovely.
Wishing you many blessings now, and in 2008.
This seems like a good entry to wave my hand and say, "Hi! I'm the newest!" Found you through conlangs and thought you were cool. Mind a friending?
By all means, please Friend me! I'll add you when I see the message come up. (Some of my LJ friends tipped me to the fact that heavy use of the Friends list makes for good networking; I have found this to be so.) Yes, I'm an avid xenolinguist with an interest in all kinds of constructed languages. That topic pops up in my LJ occasionally.
And done!

My conlangs don't appear too often on here, but once in a while I post some samples, and I talk ABOUT them often enough! I'd be interested in what you've got.

Anyway, nice to meet you!
Conlang request noted and logged. I have a bountiful supply of vocabulary and some other stuff that can be shared ... spread across at least a dozen languages and several universes.
