This morning I saw a bluejay and a cardinal in the forest garden. Then a Baltimore oriole landed on the thistle sock! They are very rare in this area; I've only seen one a few times, and this is the first time I've seen one at a feeder in my yard. :D I was surprised to see him on the thistle sock, though; usually they eat fruit. At birdfeeders they will come for jelly or nectar.
