There will be a Poetry Fishbowl on Tuesday, May 5 with a theme of "How did I end up in charge?"
Regarding internet, we still don't have full access, but the current projection is Wednesday.
Poetry in Microfunding:
There are two open epics at present.
"Protect the Forests" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Iron Horses and has 4 new verses. The Iron Horses tell Kenzie about their land.
"Pride Against Prejudice" belongs to Polychrome Heroics and has 8 new verses. Check out the autograph table and T-American television.
The weather has been breezy and rainy here. We've cleared most of the tree pieces from the ritual meadow. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of blackbirds, a flock of mourning doves, a flock of sparrows, a small flock of cardinals, a small flock of rose-breasted grosbeaks, several dark-eyed juncos, several house finches, several robins, a brown thrasher, a phoebe, a blue jay, a male goldfinch in his yellow summer coat, a red-bellied woodpecker, and a squirrel. Currently blooming: violets, tulips, lilacs, celandine poppy, yellow violet, yellow bellwort, jack-in-the-pulpit, honeysuckle, wild cherries, and nannyberry.
