Today has been intermittently rainy. When I went out to feed the birds, I got rained on, but I did manage to fill the hopper feeder and the thistle sock. It's been a great day for birds. I saw three male rose-breasted grosbeaks all together in the forest garden. We've gotten a few before, but never more than one at a time. Later I saw a male that was gray-brown on the back half, and another time, a female, and once I saw four at a time. So we have a small flock here. :D I've also seen a bluejay a couple of times today.
