Good News
Last week's Poetry Fishbowl went well. I'm almost done with the obligatory writing. All currently sponsored material has been posted. \o/
Regarding internet, we still don't have full access, but the current projection is some time this week.
Poetry in Microfunding:
There are two open epics at present.
"Protect the Forests" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Iron Horses. Two months after Kenzie's arrival, he is recovered enough for the Iron Horses to invite him to learn a new job in sustainable forestry.
"When Something Feels Good" belongs to Polychrome Heroics. It opened and closed in about a day. The telepathic superkittens are working together to make mischief.
"Pride Against Prejudice" belongs to Polychrome Heroics and has 27 new verses. See more of the goodies available at the event.
The weather has been windy and intermittently rainy here. The tree guy came and cut up the trees for us, so we have been stacking the logs. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of blackbirds, a flock of mourning doves, a flock of sparrows, several cardinals, several dark-eyed juncos, several house finches, several robins, a brown thrasher, a phoebe, a blue jay, a male goldfinch in his yellow summer coat, and a squirrel. Currently blooming: daffodils, forsythia, violets, tulips, blue grape hyacinths, cherries, crabapple, gold currant, lilacs, celandine poppy, yellow violet.
