Tree Guy

... is now here and currently cutting up the tree in the ritual meadow.  \o/

It's a beautiful day today, warm and sunny, perfect for yardwork.

EDIT 4/24/20 -- The tree guy is now done, and has done an excellent job reducing a whole tree and a main branch to usable bits.  In fact the mulberry log I wanted to leave intact was SO big that I had him cut it in half, so I now have two wildlife logs. :D

EDIT 4/24/20 -- I carried a short limb to refresh a border of the wildflower garden.  I fed the birds.

Celandine poppy, yellow bellwort, and lilacs are blooming.

I heard a bluejay screaming earlier, and then I saw him in the forest garden.  \o/

EDIT 4/24/20 -- We went out to the ritual meadow and started moving brush out of the way so we can load up the logs later.

EDIT 4/24/20 -- We cleaned under the metal wood rack on the patio, then hauled the first load of logs and put them on it.  I saw the bluejay again.

EDIT 4/24/20 -- I pulled weeds around the cistern garden.

pretty yellow flowers!

I only know daffodils. They are my favorite. Bright yellow in the cold rainy and sometimes snowy Aprils.
