Birdfeeding

Today is cool and gray.  I fed the birds.  I heard a woodpecker industriously drumming on a tree -- the sound of a healthy forest mature enough to have dead snags.  :D  House finches were out earlier too, at the hopper feeder and the thistle sock.

I did a little brush trimming around the bee tree and into the orchard.
