Shitake Mushroom Recipes

These seem promising.

I like dried or canned mushrooms as a pantry staple, because you can throw them into all kinds of things.  When I expect to cook mushrooms, I buy fresh ones, but I always keep preserved  ones handy.  I put them in mixed grains, pasta makeovers, and so on.

Come the spring storm season, keep an eye out for discarded fresh logs (small enough that you and your partner can move them by yourselves).
Take them home and then install some mushroom plugs into them.
