Poem: "All Through the Year"

This poem is the second freebie for the October 1, 2019 Poetry Fishobowl courtesy of new prompter [personal profile] meridian_rose and two anonymous prompters.  It was written outside the regular prompt calls.  It fills the "ignoring bad weather" square in my 9-5-18 "Kind and Soft" card for the 1000 Words or Less Bingo fest.

"All Through the Year"

Though the spring blooms damp and wet
And the sky's a cold, gray threat
I will love you even yet
All through the year

Though the summer sun may soar
And the crops are quite a chore
I will love you even more
All through the year

Though the autumn storms grow chill
And the rivers drink their fill
I will love you even still
All through the year

Though the winds of winter blow
And the sun swings dim and low
I will love you even so
All through the year
