Poetry in Microfunding:

There are two open epics.

"A Different Vision of Life" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Marionettes and Mercedes. Griffin wants to learn Italian.

"Goldilocks and the Genderbears" stands alone.  Goldilocks explores the cottage.

The weather has been mild here. We got some more rain.  Today is just gray and damp.  Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of starlings, a small flock of mourning doves, a small flock of goldfinches, several house finches, several sparrows, several cardinals, a downy woodpecker, and a squirrel. Currently blooming: violas, petunias, pinks, marigolds, lantana, torenia, million bells, moss rose, firecracker plant, clover, morning glories, little bluestem grass, pink sedum, asters. Apples are ripening. Pears are ripe.  More than half of the fields have been harvested.
