Notice there's not an option for "already there" or "we passed Totally Fucked City six exits back" ...? The framing itself creates the impression that climate change is still "ahead" of us, not something we're living now. Except for those pesky things like bigger hurricanes, worse heatwaves, longer fire seasons, melting glaciers, population collapses in insects and birds, &c&c.
