Last week's Poetry Fishbowl went well. I am done writing for it! \o/ I have one more sponsored poem to post, "Among the Indispensable Elements."

The Community Building Tip ran long, so I split it into "Survival Needs" and "Basic Needs."

Poetry in Microfunding:

There are three open epics.

"Goldilocks and the Genderbears" stands alone.  Goldilocks gets lost in the woods.

"Everyone Can Dance" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Shiv. Shiv learns jive dancing.

"What Survives the Whole Process" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Fortressa. Penny releases a playtesting video.

The weather has been mild here. We got just a sprinkle of rain, not enough to do any good. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a small flock of mourning doves, several house finches, several sparrows, male and female cardinals, two downy woodpeckers, a northern flicker, a blue jay, and two squirrels (one missing most of its tail). Monarchs are still migrating and we have several of them fluttering around. Currently blooming: violas, petunias, pinks, marigolds, lantana, torenia, million bells, moss rose, firecracker plant, salvia, nasturtiums, gaillardia, clover, morning glories, red yarrow, coreopsis, Queen Anne's lace, thistle, little bluestem grass, purple sedum, pink sedum, goldenrod, and aster. Crabapples are ripening. Apples have green fruit.
