Today was mild and mostly sunny. I watered plants. Then I walked around to look at the yard, and picked up a couple more milk jugs. Gladioli are blooming in the septic garden: red-violet, purple-and-yellow, melon. By the telephone pole there is a white one. In the wildflower garden a black-eyed susan is blooming. In the prairie garden the first of the sunflowers have opened.
