happy feast!

it's great that you have a small group for such meaningful experiences!

My local coven dissolved.
Even the friend who did occasional ceremonies with me lost interest.
That means there's no way for me to have a proper Wiccan funeral:
there's no reliable source for such services.

Yeah, it's growing again. For several years it was small and stagnant. Now we've got multiple sites and cooks and liturgists. It's great.

Alas! :(

There are, you just have to know where to look. If you need Wiccan clergy services, try:

* WitchVox lets you search for groups and individuals in your state.

* Chaplains often have a large pool of clergy they know in other religions that they can call on if someone needs assistance beyond their basic "how to help anyone" training. Hospitals, police stations, fire stations, and military bases are all places that often have a chaplain on staff. Occasionally chaplains list in the yellow pages too.

* Your local funeral parlors probably have a list of both chaplains and clergy of various religions. Especially for funeral services, they can help find a suitable officiant.

* Look for a Unitarian-Universalist or other interfaith church. They may have contacts for chaplains and diverse clergy also. UU has a branch called CUUPS that is Pagan, and could help you find people through there.

* Check the yellow pages in the nearest large city. It's a likely place to find Pagan clergy advertising their services. If not individually, often Pagan stores will have an ad, and those places should know the local clergy.
