Following the enthusiastic reception of the poem "Penny's Pocket Parity," I have proposed a social media campaign called #pocketfail.

The half-price sale in Polychrome Heroics went quite well. I still have several poems to post: the last one from the pool and then my parents' batch.

Poetry in Microfunding:

There are three open epics.

"Learning the Vocation" belongs to Path of the Paladins and has 39 new verses. Shahana and company talk about the way things were and how to fix them.

"A Cave Swarming with Strange Forms of Life" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Iron Horses. Kenzie and Pretty Ears talk about counseling styles.

"Everyone Can Dance" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Shiv. Tolli and Simon have a favor to ask of Shiv and Luci for the wedding.

Weather here has been wet, raining at least part of almost every day.  Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of sparrows, a flock of mourning doves, a small flock of house finches, a pair of cardinals, a brown-headed cowbird, and two rabbits. Currently blooming: violas, petunias, pinks, marigolds, alliums, lantana, torenia, million bells, moss rose, firecracker plant, salvia, nasturtiums, phlox, gaillardia, clover, Asian lilies, daylilies, golden rain tree, cleome, and a bunch of other things.  Mulberries are ripe.  Pie cherries are done.  Crabapples and apples have green fruit.
