Feathering the Nest
The prompt call is great for writing impetus, but it makes a backlog of stories, unless readers offer tips, which is the other reason that I try to get the list of available stories up as quickly as possible. Generally, I call myself a “pennysmith,” estimating a penny a word to post a story immediately and in full. To make it even more fun, if I get a total of $65 in tips between Monday the 27th and the next prompt call, which is Magpie Monday for June tenth, I’ll post a group of short stories which total at least 6500 words. (That’s two-for one fun!)
