I have a t-shirt that was made to protest the U.S. Forestry Service logging national forests. It has the pine tree sawn down. The USFS sued the artist for making that image. The presiding judge declared the art to be legitimate parody ... and told the USFS that if they didn't want to be parodied in that manner, they hadn't ought to "manage" the forests in a way that would inspire people to such parody.
