Recipe: "Squash Toast"

This is so simple, it's barely a recipe, but it is delicious.

Heat up a few spoonfuls of leftover mashed squash.

Toast a slice of cinnamon bread.

Pile on as much mashed squash as will fit.  You don't have to go easy on it -- this is squash, not jam!

Devour.

Does anyone else have recipes to share that use Thanksgiving leftovers?

I made some turkey and wild rice soup yesterday. I used the leftover turkey skin, bones, and neck to make some broth which I used as the base of my soup.
Once you've got your broth made, you can then go any which way you choose to go with your soup.
I thickened my broth up some and added chopped turkey meat and cooked wild rice to it. (Used the packaged seasonings that came with the rice but also added black pepper, seasoned salt, and parm. cheese.)
A broth-based soup like this goes very well with cornbread.

Tomorrow's turkey pot pie day!
