The weather has been chilly and intermittently wet here. We got some respectable snow. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a big flock of goldfinches, a flock of sparrows, a small flock of mourning doves, some dark-eyed juncos, several house finches, a pair of cardinals, a downy woodpecker, and three squirrels. Most of the leaves have fallen from the trees.
