Poetry in Microfunding:
There are three open epics. We're full until at least one of these concludes.
"Energy, Made Visible" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Shiv. Now Shiv flibbers over being unable to earn ALL the pretty colors at once.
"Only If It Is Embraced" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Damask and has 6 new verses. Savoir Faire and the others discuss tactics.
"In the Depths of Your Grief" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Officer Pink and has 11 new verses. Kedric and Turq talk about therapy.
The weather has been mild and pleasant here. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: sparrows, house finches, and a lady cardinal. In bloom: marigolds, gazania, zinnias, salvia, cleome, petunia, million bells, snapdragons, lantana, dianthus, morning glory, sedum, and goldenrod. There's also some pink thing in the prairie garden. Crabapples, apples, and pears have green fruit. Leaves are just beginning to turn colors in a few places, but not much yet. Possibly because we've gotten more rain this year -- in recent years, leaves were turning in August. About half of the fields have been harvested.
