Poem: "Lemon-Lime"

This is the freebie for the September Creative Jam. It was inspired by a prompt from alexseanchai. It also fills the "lemon" square in my 9-5-18 card for the 1000 Words or Less Bingo fest.


"Lemon-Lime"


The lemon is yellow,
the lime is green.

They are the light
and the darkness.

They grow apart,
yet they go together.

The light and the darkness
are not enemies but complements.

Taste the lemon-lime awakening and see
that binary thinking is bullshit.
