Early Puberty Risks
This article claims to cite health problems caused by early puberty.  They're not.  Those health risks are caused by sexual harassment and abuse, which are increased by early puberty.   The actual health risks of early puberty include stunted growth and endocrine problems.  It's important to clarify causes and effects if you want to solve a problem.  If you want to stop the psychological problems, stop treating 8-year-olds like sexually mature women.  If you want to stop the physical problems, try a moderate diet free of growth hormones and other endocrine disruptors.

Early puberty is caused by high calorie diets and an easy lifestyle, possibly certain artificial chemicals in the environment as well. Animal growth hormones fed to food animals have fuck-all to do with it. Saying animal hormones fed to food animals can/do affect human puberty when people eat their meat is just as absurd as saying dogs can overcome their species' allergy to chocolate by eating a diet of human flesh.

Honestly, "eating animals gives us their hormones and affects us the same way"? LOL! Not only does it sound ridiculous, there isn't a shred of evidence to support that, and it has as much scientific truth behind it as does the claim that the earth is flat.

Well ...

Various factors are strongly implicated in early puberty. One of those is hormones in animals. Some studies show a connection. What we don't have yet is hard proof, because people haven't studied this closely. One reason for that is the factors -- including animal hormones, endocrine-mimicking chemicals, and junk food -- are owed by rich powerful corporations who don't want a repeat of the crashes of cyclamates and cigarettes caused by damning studies that revealed how those wreck health.

However, the lifestyle choices that avoid those things are a confluence of pretty good ideas. Don't put a lot of fake stuff in your body. Eat organic when you can afford it. Minimize junk food and other overprocessed crud. Exercise sensibly. You can't avoid everything because the world is saturated with bad stuff. You can make a meaningful drop in how much you consume deliberately. That improves your odds of a healthy life.
