I also like "The Long Earth" and its sequels by Terry Pratchett and some other guy whose name I forget. It's so good I might re read it soon!
"Ultraviolet" and "Quicksilver" are good YA sci fi. Can't recall the author, and tablet is being slow. I'll look it up later.
