My first yardening project was putting a few scoops of wood chips into two buckets so I can unpack the seedlings, which need to be kept damp. From the first batch from Four Seasons, some are properly wrapped in plastic or pots, but the bundles of privets are just bare roots. I wrapped those in wet paper and put them into a bucket.
EDIT 5-21-18: I have now unwrapped, sorted, and repacked the second batch from Exciting Gardens.
EDIT 5-21-18: I planted 3 ixia, 3 ranunculus, 6 gladioli, and 3 balloon flowers in the septic garden. These were bonus plants sent with the orders.
EDIT 5-21-18: I planted 4 white-edged hostas in the purple-and-white garden. I planted 3 strawberries in the wildflower garden. I planted a Stella d'Oro daylily near the telephone pole by the road. As it is now dark, I am done for the day.
