Last week's fishbowl went pretty well, despite losing power in the middle of it. I still have more poems to write and post.
Poetry in Microfunding:
"Marks of Devotion" belongs to Kande's Quest. Kande ventures into the underworld in search of her brother.
"Energy, Made Visible" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Shiv. Dr. G and Shiv discuss what could be done with different sets of creme pastels.
"Only If It Is Embraced" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Damask. Ham grumbles over the arrangements.
The weather has been warmer here, intermittently sunny and gray, but only a little rain once. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of sparrows, a flock of mourning doves, several cardinals, some brown-headed cowbirds, a pair of goldfinches, a house finch, a brown thrasher. In bloom: violets, honeysuckles, jack-in-the-pulpit, pink chives, columbine, white alliums, purple alliums, marigolds, gazania, blue lobelia, white alyssum, zinnias, sage, beebalm, raspberries, blackberries, peonies, black iris, and sundry others. I finished planting previous things, and today both shipments of saplings arrived, which is several dozen things to plant. And we're locked into a trip on Wednesday to buy many more plants. Argh.
