"Two Favorite Colors"


At the Renaissance Faire,
hawkers call out, "I've got
your two favorite colors --
shiny and sparkly!"

The chainmail jewelry
glitters in the summer sun,
silvery and golden, studded
with gems of crystal or
semi-precious stones.

You sigh over the headdress
of silver chain and ruby glass,
your two favorite colors.

When you try it on,
you feel like a princess.
